Alaska Ship Supply required a digital platform capable of supporting the demanding, time-sensitive needs of the commercial fishing industry. The company’s outdated online presence offered limited e-commerce functionality. This made it difficult to manage store operations effectively, and nearly impossible to provide the level of service expected by commercial fishing fleets. Offshore crews needed the ability to place orders for provisions in advance so they would be ready for pickup when vessels arrived in port — a feature the old website could not support.
